Haught Dr. Phyllis Zagano is Senior Research Associate-in-Residence in the Department of Religion at Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York. An award-winning scholar and public intellectual her newest book Women Deacons? Essays with Answers (Liturgical Press, 2016) gathers translated essays by major scholars answering questions about the history of and possible future of women deacons.
