Feast of the Passing of St. Benedict

On the Feast of the Passing of St. Benedict, the monastic community was pleased to share the joy of the solemnity with guests invited for vespers and for a buffet supper. The guest list included Benedictines, Franciscans from the neighboring Commissariat of the Holy Land, Little Sisters of the Poor from the Jeanne Jugan Residence, students from the Dominican House of Studies, oblates, and relatives and friends of the monks. The kitchen staff prepared a delicious dinner and tasty home-made desserts that were enjoyed by all.
